Gartartan is situated in a small row of houses on the road to Kilnaughton, Kintra and the Oa. It is about 1 mile from the Port Ellen ferry terminal.  

From Port Askaig, follow the A846 through Bridgend and Bowmore, continuing on the A846, the "low road", for a further 9 miles towards Port Ellen. At the sharp left hand bend, cross over to the single track road for approximately 1 mile and take a right turn at the junction. Travel for 300 yards and Gartartan is on your right-hand side.

From the airport, turn right from the airport onto the A846 and follow the directions above.
